Telehealth Is Available In Your State

Making an appointment is as easy as 1-2-3.  Please read through all sections and follow the steps below to set up your appointment!

Step 1

To schedule a telehealth appointment, click on your state.  You must be physically present in that state at the time of your telehealth appointment.  After you schedule, return to this page to complete Steps 2 & 3.

To have enough time to get records and labs, please schedule your new telehealth appointment out at least 3-4 weeks.

For our online practice, we treat hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, thyroid-associated infertility, thyroid screening, post-operative and post-ablative hypothyroidism.  Due to the need for increased surveillance, people with active thyroid cancer or Grave’s disease should be followed by a local physician.

NOTE: Dr. Henderson sees new patients in all the following states and follow-ups in only certain states unless you’re a Thyroid VIP member.

Step 2

Schedule blood work to be done 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment.  Here are your options:

  1. Labcorp Cash Pay: We partnered with Labcorp to provide thyroid labs at significantly lower prices than you can get most other places, sometimes even cheaper than using insurance.  Click here for pricing.  You must use an actual Labcorp for this deal.
  2. Labcorp: Our preferred lab if you want to use your insurance.  To find the nearest location and schedule an appointment, click here
  3. Quest Diagnostics: This is also a good option.  To find the nearest location and schedule an appointment, click here.
  4. LetsGetChecked: At-home finger-stick kits for very basic testing only. This doesn’t go through insurance.  Order the “Thyroid Antibody Test”.  Click here to order.  Be aware it may take 2-3 weeks to get results.
  5. Other: You may also go to any other lab such as your local hospital system, primary care doctor, etc.  However, you are ultimately responsible for getting the results to us.
Fill out the form and click the button.  We will email your lab order and/or self-pay instructions to you within 48 business hours.  If it shows an error, try again.  If it keeps showing an error, email us since it usually comes through properly anyway.  For FAQ, click here

Step 3

You will receive an email from our Charm EHR patient portal within 48 business hours.  If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder.  It will explain how to do the following tasks which must be done prior to your appointment.

  1. Sign up for the patient portal.
  2. Complete the medical history questionnaire.
  3. Upload a picture ID.
  4. Upload your insurance info.  Although we do not accept health insurance, it usually helps with ordering labs, tests, and prescriptions.

You will also need to complete the following prior to your first appointment:

  1. Sign all consent forms.  You can read and sign them here.
  2. Upload, email, or fax your medical records.  If you do not have a copy, contact your PCP or endocrinologist.  We do not accept any records by mail.  Click here for our contact info.
  3. Optional: Upload a recent thyroid ultrasound.  Click here for instructions.
